170 Vintage Fishing Flies, Handmade Box ‘Kare Pederson'.
How do you sum up a man’s life? I’m not sure , but his fly box is a good place to start.
This auction is for a hand-made fly box, labeled ‘Kare Pederson” and “Flueeske” inside the box is lined with foam, and there are over 170 vintage flies inside . At a glance I see cream midges , black gnats, coachman, learning and Royal, cahills, Adams, wooly worms , an interesting number of small trout streamers, and more . You can tell the hackle genetics were wayyyyy different , but there’s some cracking good flies in here still.
Maybe I’m just a nerd, but because I get beat up in these auctions this one is going to have a higher starting bid.
