2 KUNA MOLA San Blas Islands TEXTILE ART hand sewn AIRPLANE/ HELICOPTER folk art NO RESERVE!Fresh from an estate and offered for auction is this wonderful hand-sewn pair of matching Mola textiles by the Kuna people of Panama. Both are inscribed on the paper back "San Blas Islands, Mola" and one is also inscribed "C. 1950," (see photo.) Both feature a wide variety of different figures, symbols, and animals, with one including an airplane and one including a helicopter. Each measures 20.5" x 17" framed as shown in the photos. Condition is very good vintage with no moth holes or damage but they do show some age. A nice addition to any wall or collection, they are offered with NO RESERVE!
