Product Description:
The pillow block bearing unit is equipped with two or four specially designed setscrews positioned in the inner ring of the ball bearing to lock onto the shaft.
The pillow block set screws are placed to optimize balance between holding power and inner ring distortion.
The pillow block bearings are relubricatable and offer a full-width inner ring for added stability.
The pillow block bearing also features a positive-contact, high quality seal to protect against harmful contaminants and retain lubricant.
The setscrew locking mechanism on the pillow block bearing is easy to install and well suited for reversing applications and normal loads.
Features:
Cast iron material is suitable for most applications.
Grease fitting for relubrication is included – enabling maximized service life under severe operating conditions.
Water-based acrylic paint to protect the housing in accordance with ISO 12944-2
Insert bearings are constructed of 52100 high carbon, chromium bearing steel.
Rings are hardened to HRC 59-63 for greater wear resistance and strength.
440C stainless steel insert bearings are available for corrosive environments.
