European Deer Skull Mount Wall / Table Pedestal Plaque Spalted Maple Arrowhead

Listing is for one custom spalted maple wall/table pedestal shaped as an arrowhead for use with European skull mounts of whitetail deer and similar size skulls. The pedestal can be assembled to be a wall pedestal or by flipping the plaque and removing the hanger, it can be used as a table pedestal. Pedestal includes an attached keyhole hanger so your trophy is secured to the wall, 1 course decking screw to attach skull, and the 4 screws needed to attach the plaque to the pedestal stand. ASSEMBLY IS REQUIRED
My local taxidermists have found that using a decking screw with a pre drilled hole on the base of the skull (refer to final pic) is the simplest and most secure way to attach your trophy. Everything comes pre drilled so that all you will need to finish your mount is a 1/8" drill bit to place a hole in your skull as shown in the last picture and screwdriver or proper bit to place in your drill to assemble the wooden pieces.
Pedestal is construct from panelized spalted maple lumber to add strength and reduce risk of warping/cupping and has 2 coats of gloss polyurethane on the front and sides. Measures approximately 8"x14 1/2". Refer to second and third pics to see the varying degrees of beauty this wood possesses. Plaques are custom cut, edges routered, and polyurethaned by skilled craftsman NOT mass produced by a CNC machine.
