BEAUTIFUL HAND-TIED WET FLIES BY KEITH FULSHER WITH SIGNATURE CARD IN GREAT CONDITION!
Keith Fulsher and my father, William Cushner, developed a warm friendship over the years and my father mounted many of Mr. Fulsher's flies in his signature fly plates which hang in two museums.   These remaining flies on cards come from the Cushner collection and cards are approximately 3 1/2 inches by 2 inches in size.  These particular flies were removed from the clear tape on the cards by Dad and the hooks taped onto a matboard in anticipation of mounting them in a framing.  That did not happen. The tape now holding the flies to the cards is the tape used on the mounting board.
Quote here from 2017 obituary:
"Keith's lifelong passion was fishing and fly tying, and he was highly regarded in the sport, having been inducted into the Fly Fishing Hall of Fame. He published 4 books, with "Tying and Fishing The Thunder Creek Series" considered the go-to book for many fishermen. In later years, he took up photography and specialized in wildlife shots. Keith traveled all over the world seeking out the best salmon fishing rivers to conquer. Along with his wife Lois, he traveled to Yellowstone Park over 40 times to enjoy the fishing and the great outdoors. Keith was an active member of the Potatuck fishing club in Connecticut."  Mr. Fulsher was 95 when he passed away.
As one form of provenance, included is a photo of the book page from the estate appraisal performed in 1992 by Alec Jackson notable fly tier and fisherman.  Included with purchase will be a signed note from us that the item is from the William Cushner collection.
