This Kuna Mola measures about 33" x 16".
Folks, some time ago I bought a box of molas from the children of missionaries that served in the San Blas Islands in the 1950-1960 period. The Islands are home to the Kuna mola artists so of course they became collectors.
This mola is in excellent condition for its age. It reminds me of days gone by when as a child I could rent a horse on the Santa Clara beach for an hour for 50 cents. That tells you how old I am.
Now for the particulars. This is a rare find indeed. While it might appear to be two molas put together it is not. It is one super long mola. I rarely see one like this. I shot a number of photos so you can get up close and personal.
I see it in a Yacht Club dining room but put it where you may.
