'The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou' 4-Button SetA set of four 1.25" fan-made buttons inspired by "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou," a film by Wes Anderson ("The Royal Tenenbaums").
In this perfectly pastel parody of the mythos of Jacques Cousteau, celebrity oceanographer Steve Zissou sets off on a quest to find the mythical shark that apparently really killed his partner, with a crew that includes his estranged wife, a journalist, and a man who may or may not be his son. It's dense with deadpan dialogue, meticulously arranged color schemes, and all the tiny grace notes that make a Wes Anderson film. It was written by Anderson and Noah Baumbach and was filmed in and around Naples, Ponza, and the Italian Riviera. Mark Mothersbaugh, a member of Devo, composed the score, as he has for many of Anderson's other films.

Operation Hennessey
- Alistair Hennessey, a more successful oceanographer and Zissou's nemesis, is played by Jeff Goldblum in the film. People have noted that while the Hennessey flag looks snappy, it is poorly designed for ocean visibility.
Stars Bill Murray as Steve Zissou, with Owen Wilson, Cate Blanchett, Anjelica Huston, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Michael Gambon, Noah Taylor, and Bud Cort.
