Vintage Framed Mola Applique Fabric Art
Total Size including frame - 17.5 inches wide x 13.5 inches tall x 1 inch thick.
Subject - Blue parrot and colorful tropical flowers on a black background.
Tag is taped to the back showing the trademark is Indios® of Costa Rica.
Tag explains that the artwork rights are exclusive to the Kuna Yala Indians of Panama.
The fabric is made with applique and reverse applique methods of hand sewing.
Frame is plastic. Hanging cord already attached to back.
There is no glass in the frame.
Condition - Artwork is excellent condition. Black plastic frame has a few light scuffs. Back is covered with kraft paper which has a few tears.
