    About Mola Art
    Mola Art began approximately two hundred years ago. The mola is thought to have originated from early body painting of women in the seventeenth century, and then applied to cloth and later on to dress decorations.
    Kuna reverse appliqué is the method that uses several layers of fabric cut in intricate patterns and the cut out of the top layers reveals the more colorful layers underneath.
