This listing is for three 1.25" repro buttons based the 70's TV show "Mork and Mindy."
"Mork and Mindy" was broadcast from 1978 to 1982. Mork, an alien from the planet Ork, arrives in Boulder, Colorado in a giant egg. He is here to investigate Earth and report back to his superiors. He moves in with a young woman, Mindy McConnell, in order to observe humans. As an outsider, Mork is unfamiliar with human customs and often questions some of the strange traditions that we take for granted. Much of the humor relies on Williams' unique comic voices and mannerisms. The character of Mork was actually created for an episode of "Happy Days"!
The show was perhaps most famous for Mork's greeting, 'Nanu Nanu.' In times of stress Mork uses the word 'Shazbot!" as an expletive which is probably equivalent to an Earth expletive that also starts with S. Mork wears rainbow suspenders and a smiling moon with stars pin is one of his accessories.
The series starred Robin Williams, Pam Dawber, Ralph James, Conrad Janis, Robert Donner, Jonathan Winters.
