Concorde 213 first flew on June 26th, 1978. It was initially registered as F-WJAM to Aerospatiale before being leased to Air France. It was returned to Aersospatiale in 1979 and re-registered as F-BTSD before ultimately being purchased by Air France in 1980. After logging a total 12,974 hours flight timeF-BTSD was retired from service in 2003 and is currenly on display at the Le Bourget Air and Space Museum in Paris, France. F-BTSD holds the world records for fastest flights around the world: Westbound on 12-13 October 1992 with a flight time of 32 hours 49 minutes and Eastbound on 15-16 August 1995 with a flight time of 31 hours 28 minutes.
BAe/Aerospatiale Concorde
Designed as a part of a collaborative effort by Britain and France to create a supersonic airliner, the Concorde was first flown on March 2nd, 1969.
