    The fan is held in place with a gentle grip of spring tension, and the beard is held in place thru the rubber grommet on the bottom of the kit. The wood is 100 year old rough sawn Oak with the radial saw marks visible the wood has 2 coats of a catalyzed lacquer satin finish.
